The Artist

Welcome to my homepage,

I have kept the design rather simple

as I wanted to let my Bears speak for themselves.

It would have been lovely if they could have typed as well,

but you can't have everything I guess.

I have been making Artist bears for roughly four years now,

selling internationally through ebay since March 2005

under my ebay user name chris009av.

After recieving my BA(painting), in 1998 through Monash University.

I took up teaching at the local Community Center.

Unfortunately, after my partner became ill I found myself at home.

This is when I took up the needle and thread and created my first bear as a gift for my Daughter.

All my Bears are handcrafted using my own designs, using only quality materials.

That first bear was 54cm(21") tall, and since then I have created a range of different sized bears.
